Our team will visit your loved one’s home to assess the layout and determine the best installation points for the sensors. We’ll take privacy into account and provide a detailed price estimate based on the specific setup needs.

Although Ilonai uses cameras to detect falls and monitor safety, your privacy is always protected. The cameras never send images to any server or network — all video data stays securely within your home. The only time footage is sent is during an emergency, and only to designated family members via a secure channel. They can access it using a PIN-protected system. This ensures that only your loved ones have access to the data, maintaining your privacy.
If a fall or emergency is detected, Ilonai sends an immediate alert to designated caregivers. Notifications are sent via SMS, app notification, or email, and include the ability to view a short video clip of the incident. Only family members with a predefined PIN can access this alert and the accompanying footage, ensuring it remains secure and private.
No, Ilonai does not require your home’s Wi-Fi or internet connection. The system comes with a GSM module that operates on its own separate network, ensuring that it won’t interfere with your home’s connectivity. This means the system remains independent and secure at all times. You don’t need to worry about maintaining an internet connection for the system to function.
The cost structure is simple and transparent:

Installation fee: 300 CHF (one-time setup cost)

System deposit: 700 CHF (refundable deposit for the equipment)

Monthly fee: 100-150 CHF (depending on the level of service you choose)
The deposit is refunded when you return the system. There are no hidden fees, so you’ll know exactly what to expect.

Ilonai’s maintenance is designed to be easy and convenient. The cameras run on custom rechargeable batteries, and we provide a charger with the system. You’ll need to recharge the batteries approximately every two months, or if you prefer, we can handle this for you as part of our service. Small system updates happen automatically, while larger updates may require manual steps, which we’ll guide you through.
No, for privacy and security reasons, we do not perform remote troubleshooting. However, the system will automatically notify us if there’s a problem, such as a camera malfunction or internet/GSM connection issue. In such cases, we’ll contact you immediately to arrange a time to come and check the system in person to resolve the issue.
Your data is fully secure with Ilonai. All video data stays inside your home, and it’s only accessible in the event of an emergency by authorized family members using a PIN-protected system. The GSM module ensures that the system operates on a separate, secure network, and no data is ever sent to external servers. We comply with all privacy regulations, ensuring your loved one’s information is safe.
Installation typically takes 1-2 hours, depending on the size and layout of the home. After installation, we’ll test the system with you, walk you through how it works, and ensure you’re comfortable using it before we leave.
Yes, you can cancel the service at any time. If you choose to cancel, we’ll collect the system, and your 700 CHF deposit will be refunded as long as the equipment is returned in good condition. The 300 CHF installation fee is non-refundable.
